Sugar Sands Holiday Cottage

Sugar Sands is a lovely, clean and comfortable house in which to spend a holiday. We stayed here in 2018 and again in 2019 and plan to stay again next year! On our arrival, there was a welcoming bottle of wine to greet us and another was left for us when the most amiable cleaning lady came to change our bedding and towels at the end of the first week. The house has a cheerful, nautical theme running through it which we love and it is very well equipped. There are games and jigsaws provided in the sideboard. Just across the road is a Co op which is very handy and further along the road is the lovely, friendly Company B cafe which is well worth a visit with its delicious, homemade cakes. Once again Sugar Sands cottage exceeded all our expectations! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sugar Sands to anyone!

This house was a great base to explore Northumberland from. There was ample space for our two families, with plenty of bedroom and bathroom facilities. The south facing garden was a great sun trap and well enclosed so ideal for small children or dogs. The Fishing Boat Inn at Boulmer was two miles away and had a path all the way so was possible to walk for older kids or with pushchairs. Sugar Sands beach was also within walking distance and was absolutely beautiful and not too busy, even on a sunny August afternoon. We would certainly visit again.

Excellent stay. Stopped for over 2 months for business, the house is clean and spacious, even had extra cleaning measures in place for our key workers, the house had everything you would need a real home from home, The owner is very accommodating, friendly and knows the area so can recommend the local haunts and places for dining, shopping and exploring should you be on holiday, ample parking, neighbours are lovely too, will be sad to go. Would recommend this house to anyone stopping for business or a holiday, Super Stay thank you so much.
