        Longframlington is a lovely and friendly village and I called into this pub as reviews said it was good for real ale, well it's not. There were 4 handpumps but only one was working and it was an average pale ale at 4.80. There may sometimes be more choice but that wasn't mentioned when I asked about the three unused pumps. We were going to eat there but it appears that writing Gastropub on the wall entitles you to hike your prices so we had a fabulous meal elsewhere for a fraction of the price. When it comes to drinking if you are a real ale fan there are several other places within a short drive in Alnwick where it is over a 1 cheaper for proper beer. I cannot speak for the accommodation as we stayed elsewhere but I'm sure it is fabulous. Perhaps this review will generate personal insults or pettiness but this only highlights a lack of ability or intelligence to receive a well intended and honest personal opinion
