We had a brilliant stay in Framlington Corner. Spotless, spacious and comforable with a great layout with ensuite bedrooms at either end of the lodge to ensure privacy when staying with others. The location is superb, peaceful, quiet, yet in a small village with enough amenities available. Can recommend the Running Horse for great picnics and cakes. Within 30-40 mins of fantastic Castles, Beaches, Towns and Villages. The owners were on hand via mobile should you need it, we didn't. There is another lodge next door but is separated by the parking area for Framlington Villa. We will definitely be returning to this great place and beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty.

Very quiet spot but close enough to village amenities. Cannot fault this holiday let (and we are quite fussy)! Really clean and spacious rooms with exceptionally comfortable furnishings. The beds were especially comfortable with high quality mattresses and linen. The kitchen is well equipped and with most places still in semi lockdown, we did our own cooking and were short of nothing - even down to a non-stick frying pan with lid (we bring our own just in case but didn't need it here). Even the knives were nice and sharp! The lodge is next to another so great if you are 2 groups and can book together but still private enough not to feel overlooked in any way. We took 3 bikes which we locked up under the canopy outside - felt very secure with large chain lock and were well sheltered. If we were to highlight any negatives (and these are not faults at all, just small points that might be useful to know!) - the fridge is integrated so a little on the small side, needed to use an additional cool bag for a week's worth of food. The TV in the main living room is not on an adjustable bracket so you do get some glare from the windows and the view would be spectacular if the hedging around was a little lower. But like I say, we are fussy and these in no way spoilt our stay. Overall, a very nice and comfortable place. Not too far from all the great locations in the area. Great welcome from the owner who gave us some tips on where to cycle (Thrunton woods was great). Would definitely recommend!
