        Went for a Sunday lunch, it was very busy.We had our table allocated for 2 hours which was acceptable. Gluten and dairy free was catered for and I was offered a suitable dessert, but I did not have room. Veg arrived already plated up so no personal choice, I would have preferred it served separately as people have different preferences. I has a huge pile of pickled cabbage that I wasn't going to eat. The meat was beautifully cooked and very tender. The staff were lovely and very efficient.

        Great food, adequate portion size from varied menu. Good choice of lagers and ales. Staff efficient, very polite with a nice sense of humour. Nice country pub atmosphere. We understand dogs are welcome but with prior notice so they can be suitably accommodated.
