Extremely happy with Tom and his team they worked professionally throughout with attention to detail so much so to perfection. They were always punctual and nothing was too much trouble if required any alterations to plans. Carried out changes to the existing terrain and the reconstruction of stone structure to all part of landscaping, new drive, new hedging and patio area. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again! Tom and Graham did an amazing job translating our garden design plans into reality. Nothing was too much trouble, including mocking up the paving and planter designs before they started work to make sure we were 100% happy. We also encountered supply issues with our chosen block paving, but Tom was quick to come up with solutions and came back with an alternative product that worked better in the garden than the original product. The quality of the work and eye for detail was outstanding, so much so that we have booked Tom and Graham to come back next year to renew our driveway. Would highly recommend. Had new hand built fencing and gate and porceline paving installed, we're really pleased with the result. The fence has been put through it with the recent wind! Communication was great throughout as any options were articulated clearly. I can be quite picky but the finishes show an eye for detail. Tom's also a nice guy which makes everything easier. Weill be the first people we call for any landscaping work we get done in the future.

"Big Drive, Family Garden, and a few extras." We found T Hoyle Landscaping via Instagrams Northern_Landscaper. Gareth and Tom had demonstrated an impressive history of garden projects together (even RHS shows!) but also a keen eye for the detail in their work no matter how big or small the project is. Stage 1: Design Before Id approached THL Id already researched how we wanted the project to look. General scope of our works were: Completely remove existing front and back garden, hedges, crazy paving, concrete, gates and replace with front wall with rails, fences, gates, indian stone patio,block paving and artificial grass. Basically, my steer was a garden and driveway with the lowest maintenance possible due to a busy family life. Stage 2: Quote I contacted Gareth via the website, and Tom came to the property for a discussion of our requirements and made some great suggestions on how to implement the ideas. Even suggestions that I did not take up were excellent but we wanted to work to a specific budget. Quote was sent to me within agreed timescale. Stage 3: Agreement After accepting the quote, contracts were signed and expectations outlined for a start date and approximate timescale for the works. All the admin (quote updates/payment terms) were so easy and simple. Thank you to Sam Hadfield. Stage 4: Start of works. Tom and Graham delivered materials and equipment to site and were straight into moving tons of the existing garden away. Even when pandemic/brexit hit supply chains, the network THL can call upon made sure there was no major delay for materials. The most important thing I was looking in a landscaper was QUALITY - not just in the finished work, but preparation. Whether its setting levels, SUDS compliance, using smart tools, choosing quality materials, following the latest industry recommendations, or keeping the site safe and tidy at the end of the day.. there is pride in all aspects of the work. Communication at all stages was excellent with ourselves, but also other people like neighbours, people walking past or even our young son chewing their ear off around 3pm each day :) Stage 5: Completion The work was completed on time and on-budget and were absolutely delighted with it and cannot wait to really make use of it next summer. With any work, there can always be minor snags or you might have questions about an aspect of the work. Tom will put right any issues straight away or if youve got a technical questions like what products to use on your newly laid stone for example, hes always made honest and knowledgeable recommendations. Tom and Graham even went out of their way to help me move a shed Id got stuck with. Lifesavers! Summary: We would highly recommend T Hoyle Landscaping as a quality, professional landscaper for any sized project. Their services are very popular and in demand due to the quality and care they take on each project. We made what will probably be a once-in-a lifetime investment into the project and wanted to ensure that the money invested delivered value and quality. I can say wholeheartedly it was worth the wait. Thanks to all that were involved.
