Just a reply to "Chris Brown" regarding his letter into route one. If you see a HGV in one of the coach bays, I can assure you that it will be because the HGV bays are completely full (often with caravans and vans it seems nowadays), no HGV driver is going to choose to park in the coach bays over a HGV bay, you make it sound like it's our first choice because we're all too fat and lazy to walk the 50 odd metres from the HGV park, that's not the case. Also, the reason we're in that coach bay, is because the coach bays are almost always completely empty and we do of course need to take legal breaks and daily rests just like a PCV driver. It's not something that I do as I don't want to risk a possible fine for using an incorrect bay (which don't appear to ever be enforced). However, next time you do see a HGV in a coach bay, instead of thinking that the driver of the HGV is too lazy, unprofessional and inconsiderate to walk for his Greggs pasty for his breakfast, perhaps go and speak to the inconsiderate caravan or van driver who is taking up a bay where the HGV driver in question needs to take their break, which is required by law and punishable by fixed penalty fines or prosecution if not taken.
