I asked Dave to make a ring box for when I popped the big question to my partner. I provided dimensions of the two rings and he suggested a few ideas for wood / finishes etc. I thought it best to give Dave full creative autonomy on the design and Im so glad I did, as the end result was an absolutely beautiful and expertly handcrafted box with a sleek walnut exterior and a rugged English oak burr inset. He also sourced some high-quality, removable foam pillows so that the rings could be arranged how I wanted and meant the box was usable post-engagement as a lovely little box to protect her favourite jewellery. It sits pride of place on her bedside table. I cant recommend Dave highly enough! P.s she said yes :) Service: Woodworking

We asked Dave to build us a toy box for our son's first birthday, gave him a rough idea of dimensions but then left the rest to him. What he designed was simply jaw dropping and a completely unique one off piece. He used the best local materials and somehow managed to make the wood look like a seashell. Inventive, technically impressive this guy brings his passion and experience to every piece he makes. Highly recommended. Service: Custom furniture

I asked Dave for a bespoke set of yoga blocks for my yoga teaching wife for her birthday. This was a tricky project which Dave enthusiastically took from my head and duly delivered within budget and time constraints and with modifications only he could have thought of. The result is a beautiful piece of workmanship which my wife adores. Seriously talented, friendly and patient guy who obviously enjoys his work. David was very friendly and approachable, he willing to help me, a enthusiastic amateur struggling to finish a minor project. The work I needed to he done was a small fairly simple job that I think most carpenters and woodworkers wouldn't have been interested in. David was not only happy to do it but keen to help me, give me advice and tips. I'm glad I let the professional finish the work. It was done quickly and to a very high level. And the price was very reasonable, if anything I think he under charged me for what he did. He kept in contact with me regularly and uodated on what was happening with the project.
