The Hollies

The hollies is incredible.i dont understand where these negative comments have come from. . Reading those reviews when I found out I was moving to the hollies made it really difficult for me I didnt want to come here because I red the reviews .but I tell you now it's the most amazing place. The staff are such a supportive and caring team of people.i couldn't fault them if I tried. Moving here has made me happy and content with life again. Couldn't thank the hollies enough for having me .

Very grim, apparently its residents care home when it's not they cut your money to 20 pound a week and staff are nasty and people who live here are fruitcakes and repeats everything you say like a parrot. Can't even have a normal conversation with anyone

Awful no care plan . No care at all , they slander your name warning other residents that they should not accept anything from you as they say you give gifts then accuse others of stealing ! Just because you have severe Dissociative Identity Disorder and Chronic Post Traumatic stress disorder which they have no understanding of . Thats plain to see ! They dont realise you can write and have a degree + are a member of Mensa and have been videoing if a personality is too young to journal . It costs such a lot of your money and your doing all the work. You end up with costs at home and over 300 a week to stay there .CRAZY ! OUTRAGEOUS!! Little did they know I gave clothes and bought clothes and sweets for residents and gave gifts not accusing one of them stealing as we have never done this in our entire life . Residents smoke them selves to death . Three residents have died since I was there . One just before . It costs you hundreds of pounds and you have to buy your own food . Wash and dry your own clothes , clean the dinner room . Keep your room tidy unlike the residents that just smoke craftily in their rooms or toilets or bathrooms . No concept of fire ! Theres nothing for residents to do except chain smoke and argue and barter cigarettes .(We dont smoke or drink alcohol ) . Gardens that could be put to good use and home grown produce by residents to assist them are left . Hard earned European grants to make a state of the art kitchen so residents can cook are kept locked and unused . Its surely not lawful ! The setting is beautiful . They sit on land waiting for it to accumulate more money so they can get more grants to build flats . More money to pocket ! I could cry for the residents that do nothing and everything is done for them yet they are not as disabled as we are ! Nothing is catered for them . Foreigners own it and make a lot of money from it . Staff you think are friendly back stab each other and clients . Awful place PLEASE NEVER LET YOUR SOCIAL WORKER SEND YOU HERE!! You have to pay hundreds of pounds . They know they are on to a winner with this one ! Dont be fooled by their pretence of kindness its an act & your slandered and they interfere with Police matters so you loose 2.500 stolen by a support worker . Couldnt wait to leave this filthy disgusting place once I saw behind the pretence . Spit and Flem is in the corridors and pavements . Icky !
