We have stayed at Billy Croft Cottage several times and love every minute of it. Really not sure why Ann Hoyle referred to it as filthy. It's an old converted barn that accepts dogs, with a log burner, impossible to have no dust. It's always been clean when we've visited and I contact the owner, Wendy, when we want to stay. Wendy has never been anything more than helpful and she leaves a lovely welcome pack and leaves us to it, she's across the road if we need anything. The cottage is lovely and cosy when the log burner is going, the pub is 5 minutes down the road and it's great for walks when you have dogs.

We recently stayed at Billy Croft Cottage and what an experience. The Cottage was filthy. The Stair Carpet was thick with Dog Hairs.The overall cleanliness was non existent.The owner was so unhelpful and denied it was dirty. We managed to stay 3 days out of 7 but only because the beds were clean.We had to hoover and clean everything before we could use it.there was opened food left in the cupboards and freezer!! Before anyone stays there it needs industrial cleaning machines taking in.what a shambles
