        Just had two nights camping at Ivy House and loved it. Joan is a superhost! Very friendly and helpful. It's only a two mile walk from Appleby, yet you feel totally unsurrounded as you watch the sun set. We had a foal and mother in the next field, so that was a bonus! You've only got a short stroll through fields and woodland to the neighbouring village of Dufton, where the team at The Stag will make you feel more than welcome. We would definitely recommend Ivy House if you're thinking of camping in Appleby :D

        The owners have a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise, the location is ideal for fabulous rides in the stunning countryside in the heart of the Eden Valley with stunning views of the pennines, howgills and lakeland fells.
