I say I used this company but in the end they did not provide the service I requested which I thought I had agreed verbally over the phone. They appeared from the advertising details to be a local company but when the actual firm doing the work turned up, we were told not only were they not local but there was another middle company in the middle! With VAT, I was being charged over 400 for a 14 square load of household debris which I explained was removal of 2 bathrooms, plasterboard and rubble. There was no mention of 'a light load'. The two men who came, looked at the load and reported back to someone that this was not a light load. I explained that I had made it quite clear what the load was. They relayed a photo and were apparently instructed to take half. We felt our contract had been broken and said; 'No' and I asked for a full rebate, which Sarah had said we were entitled to when I called Waste King, if I had sent them away. I subsequently received an email from Chris saying that they would forfeit 60 for a wasted journey! In our experience; NOT A GOOD COMPANY, STEER CLEAR Service: Construction debris removal
