        After hearing that this chippy had been taken over by new owners and reading some positive reviews on Facebook, I decided to give them a try. There wasn't much selection on the hot plate, but I guess that is because trade is still building up and he doesn't want to waste stock. On the plus side, that means the food is freshly cooked. I ordered Cod and chips and waited less than 10 minutes, he then gave me a complimentary curry sauce. The food was reasonably priced (in this day & age), tasted good and the batter was nice and crispy, I will definitely be going back again.

        The lady serving, was sitting eating and she was on the phone, so didn't speak straight away. Very poor. The food chips didn't look fresh, the curry wasn't chippy curry, far too spicy and hot for me. Won't go there again
