Toasty Tipis

Wouldnt recommend. The accommodation is very run down, holes in the tipi, the bbq, mugs, bedsheets and everything is dirty, even bird poo all over the furniture which could have been cleaned before we arrived. The shower was broken and no running tap water, the hot tub wasnt warm on arrival and would have taken a while to warm up and the lady said to let it go out by the evening as she had more people staying the next day and needed to empty it and sort it out for them, so we wouldnt have been able to even use it in the morning. When I was courteous in letting the lady know we wont be staying the night there she was very rude.

Toasty tipis is a wonderful place. We stayed there for two nights in the boutique tipi and it was magical. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or just relax this is the place for you. You are totally enclosed in your own place in the forest. We were greeted by Catherine on arrival who was lovely, she showed us around, told us everything we needed to know and then just left us to it. The tipi was great, its heated and also has an electric blanket on the double bed. The hot tub was amazing with bubbles and lights if you want. You have your own seating area, kitchen, bbq, bar and shower. Theres a local pub that serves lovely meals and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. I would definitely recommend this place, its in a great location and is a very relaxing place. Five stars *****

Fantastic stay 16/08/2021! Such a peaceful place with everything you could need on hand. Tipi super cosy and comfy. Catherine provides everything you need on site (including cups/glasses/plates/cutlery/cooking stuff for gas BBQ, washing up stuff etc). Visited the nearby White Hart pub for a meal, which was also superb. Warning, you CAN make the log burning hot tub TOO hot , though it is lovely. Will happily stay here again, thank you!!! Dont book toasty tipis.. absolute shambles we booked here for a 1 night stay for our 10 year anniversary only to be called whilst we was on our way down there and to be told she had double booked us along with someone else so had to cancel our stay.. so after a load of messing about we found somewhere else that wasnt what we were after.. oh and she held onto our money when id sent bank details for a refund hours in advance!! Made a right mess of our anniversary! Thanks catherine
