North Mill Stoves

Be very wary of dealing with this business. They will use any eco, safety, etc claptrap they can to try to frighten you into spending a fortune on a complete new heating installation, when you don't need to. We just needed a damaged flue pipe replaced, but they were clearly determined to force us to buy a new stove and rebuild a whole section of the house as well. Other HETAS suppliers we have approached for quotes are perfectly happy with the existing stove and its installation, so we shall be using one of those suppliers.

If only every contractor was as good to deal with as North Mill Stoves! First class service from start to finish. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend to anybody considering installing a wood burning stove. Thank you North Mill Stoves.

A HAPPY CUTOMER. We contacted North Mill Stoves as they were recommended by a friend of ours. Our old woodburning stove looked shabby, wasn't very efficient and we had a problem with creosote coming back down the chimney and flue. It needed to be replaced with a more efficient modern-looking stove and the creosote problem fixed. In addition, we wanted to retain our wooden beam and that was not straightforward because of new regulations that had to be met. Ian came and did an initial survey and worked out a design whereby the beam could remain in place. He gave a quote which turned out to be accurate despite a few changes along the way and advised what we should look out for when choosing the stove. We had total choice as to which stove to choose. An installation date was agreed and the work done to our complete satisfaction by Ian and Kevin with the room left clean and tidy afterwards. We have used the stove several times now and are delighted with it. It is a real feature in the room as well as providing heat. Much more efficient than our old one too and better for the environment as it meets the latest emission regulations. The attached picture says it all. North Mill Stoves gave us a complete service from design to installation, taking account of the room the stove was going into as well as our preferences. I would certainly use them again.

Jan 2021. Many thanks to Ian and the team for servicing the stove and fitting the Dragon Cowl so quickly. As always excellent service and a really good price. Will continue to recommend your services to family and friends.Easy 5 star rating. The original fitment was faultless and the subsequent servicing and upgrades have also continued in the same vain. :)
