Long Clawson Dog Walking Field

We were visiting the area and needed secure fields to be able to walk our group of small dogs including a reactive rescue dog. We chose this field for one night based on the good reviews. However, on arrival there were multiple negative aspects. There are no locks at all so you don't feel particularly secure there. The website said the two fields are screened using privacy screening so that dogs won't be disturbed by other dogs in the adjoining field. A large single dog was being exercised in the other field and it spent the entire time running along the fence line and could easily be seen through the fence by our dogs. The owner did nothing to stop this but did seem to leave early which indicated that she didn't have a good time either. The ground was wet, which was understandable, but was also extremely uneven and not very safe for the smaller dogs to run around. There were loads of spiky plants and twigs which we ended up taking home with us in the dogs' coats. The agility equipment was in a very poor state and not safe to use at all. We paid exactly the same for a different field nearby yesterday which was world's apart from this one. I'd also emailed the field owner two days prior to check about first use and received no reply. All in all, very disappointing.
