The Hideout

The Hideout is a great place to stay, lovely and clean and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is an added bonus and the gardens are very pretty. Ideally situated for visiting some great places in Dorset, like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, West Bay and Dorchester to name but a few. Jason the host is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade Dorset Apple Cake and home-brewed beer that was kindly provided by Jason and his family. We would definitely recommend staying at this fabulous accommodation!

We stayed at the hideout back in April and we havent stopped talking and telling people about it since. The hideout truly is a hidden gem with Jason and his family being wonderful hosts. His daughters homemade apple cake was a very welcome treat, as were special, extra, pre arranged touches for a birthday surprise. The hideout itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for the weekend. It is fully secluded from the main house and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields. The outside space is ideal for an evening bbq before heading into the hot tub with lovely lighting and incredible stars. Fantastic location for places like west bay, Lyme Regis or further afield is easily accessed by the A35. We took bikes and rode to local pubs (a beautiful ride but be warned very hilly). We will most definitely be back soon as will some family and friends we expect.
