    I ordered a cheese Wedding cake and it's appalling the lack of care and sincerity offered to me. As a bride I was anxious and upset about this the day prior of my wedding and ruining and chance of relaxation and I was also out of pocket at an expensive time not to mention totally left in the dark. It astonishes me at this awful communication but more so the dismissive and uncaring attitude to what was an awful experience created by mistake after mistake of Ashley Chase Ford Farm, truly disgusting and unacceptable. I requested a full investigation to be made and sent to me into this and I've still received nothing 6 weeks after my wedding. I bought the cake through costco said ashley chase are responsible for delivering the cake, the initial delivery date incorrect as the 24th aug instead of the 25th aug. My husband took the 25th Aug off unpaid to wait for it which has cost us and we got no cake. My husband called again 2 weeks prior to confirm this and nothing was mentioned about any risk of no delivery this could have saved us a cost. The postal strike action was announced on the 5th July, we weren't told at this time in July or on the call in august our cake may not be delivered. Is this not a sufficient time to make alternate arrangements or even call us apparently not. On the 25th aug I requested with costco on 3 calls that Ashley chase call me as costco confirmed you're responsible for delivery. Ashley chase refused to call me on 3 call requests. The only msg given was that a refund would be made and no further calls or support would be offered the day before my wedding, though the refund wasn't made until 4 weeks later. On final contact I had to suggest a delivery to the venue and on an alternate date, why was no contingency plan by Ashley chase made in the situation one would ask. Four weeks later I was told on the phone delivery was made though we never got the cake. I gave my mobile, I was PROMISED txts or WhatsApp for updates so I wouldn't panic all day prior to my wedding and on my wedding. I received NO response until I called again after 4 weeks of chasing. I have called multiple times directly to Ashley chase Ford Farm and no-one would speak to me and I was promised a call or response to my complaint and nothing was given. I was not told about a delivery being made until 4 weeks after the supposed delivery. When finally receiving a call after me chasing it there was no investigation result or conclusion. The most they said was we authorized a refund and the cake was delivered and that was it. Ashley chase had not resolved anything with costco together instead both passing the blame between themselves and still haven't responded or resolved the issue with me. Appalling and in times where there service is a luxury commodity don't waste your money, the Sales team are lovely and will take your money but the company will probably mess it up, blame someone else and ignore your calls and Charlie Baber will ignore your emails after. Terrible people and awful company ethos. Will never order anything from them again, not worth the stress.
