    I have used Blue Castle Group for over 2 years now and must say that while I had my concerns at the beginning of the contract they have really pulled through and provided our hotel with both a professional and cost effective service covering all of our waste streams, our Blue Castle Group contracts manager Kerry has been outstanding providing clear and concise communication on a regular basis along with detailed waste management reports and proposals for innovative ways to streamline our waste management.

    BEWARE! an auto renewal contract. After a spate of missed collections, poor customer service and incorrect billing I tried to cancel my contract. Only to find I have to give them 3 months notice prior to my contract renewal date and serve an additional 3 months notice period after my renewal date! So as I missed the notice period I'm stuck with them. I would like to point out that no notification of my contract becoming due for renewal was received from Blue Castle. This type of contract has been made illegal for consumers but apparently still perfectly acceptable for businesses. I Have not had an on time collection for months leaving us with waste overflowing. In 15 years of business I have never dealt with such an incompetent company. They may look competitively priced on the surface but worth noting the excess waste charge per KG if you bin is overweight, and your time taken chasing them repeatedly.     Blue-Castle provide Utility Management service for business like hotel; park home etc. We are owner of a holiday lodge in Cheshire which under Blue-Castle management since Nov 2018. We reported our gas bill was incorrect but no safety advise or explanation for weeks, we than further noticed a incorrect electric bill and asked for an explanation, their customer service is shocking or should I say lack off. Blue-Castle is not registered with Ombudsman services being the middleman between main supplier, it shows in the way they response to their customer. We are now advised to forward our complaint to Trading Standards and Watchdog. Dear xxx, RE: Formal Complaint Thank you for the electric bill for the period of 1st June 2019 - 30th June 2019. As you are aware the dispute we currently had with Blue-Castle about incorrect billing and safety. As such, can you please provide an explanation on a electric bill you send today at 15:11, end read at 2065, as compare to the attached reading pictures we took on 9th July 2019 at 19:00, our electric meter read at - 20634.     I experienced a worst service from this company for waste services. Please haggle around , don't fall into trap. They over charge even when they don't collect the waste and come with lots of excuses of overcharging. Even they collect fees for collecting empty bins after initiation or cancelling the contract. Only one thing good is they will reply immediately on any enquiries you mail them.
