I've been training with Richard for the past year and it's been great! He's helping me with rehab exercises to deal with a back injury caused by so many years of working at a desk. I thought there wasn't much I could do for my back, that it was something I would have to put up with, but he showed me how focalized work and careful instruction can lead to great results with the proper guidance! Couldn't be happier with how it's going!

We have been training with Richard for over a year now and we are completely committed to our 2-to-1 weekly session. Before we started we wanted to improve our fitness level and it's incredible how much more confident and in a better shape we both are now compared to a year ago. We usually alternate a boxing-fitness session and a bootcamp/bodyweight session, which for us works really well. Every exercise is designed to be functional and efficient and he varies the sessions periodically so that you don't get bored and your body is challenged in different ways. Richard is a very experienced PT that pushes you without putting you off, every time finding the fine balance and always encouraging you to do a bit more without making you feel bad if you've just had a bad day. He's very accommodating in terms of things that you like doing but he's very clear about making sure that the sessions are varied and well balanced. We completely trust him to plan our sessions and to increase the difficulty based on his professional knowledge and experience. Richard is always wiling to listen and he is a very supportive and personable guy, the sessions are always fun and very pleasant - we always leave in a better mood than when we arrive! The results are obvious - I do other activities and I have improved in those in terms of resistance and strength, but most of all, Richard helped me to improve my confidence in trying new things and activities. He never shouts and he's never critical, always constructive in his feedback. He's also very patient and professional (when we have the occasional rant about work!) and flexible. He's genuinely a nice guy. If you want a serious, experience, challenging but supportive, reliable, accommodating, nonsense-free PT than Richard is the right one for you.
