Last month I hired this company to move a (part-furnished, i.e. no bedroom or dining furniture, but with sofa and desk) 1 bed flat - quoted 150 based on a request of specifically a van + 2 movers to move the flat, making it clear that I'm unable to help lift. I counted unstackable items like plants and mentioned this in my email. Charles turned up on his own, when I questioned this he told me not to worry because he can do the work of 2 people, and that this job would be easy. He was not concerned about the work involved after surveying the packed items that needed moving, before beginning the job. As a result of being a man down, the job took longer, which was frustrating but I shrugged it off, as the price was 30 cheaper than other quotes. That is, until the end of the day when he stood on my doorstep and charged me an additional 50, complaining that it took too long and that I had too much unstackable stuff (the same stuff that was present at the start of the day). Notably, he waited until after my companion had left to do this so I was alone, and until the end of the day despite having no concerns when he originally arrived. I'd also already tipped 20 cash. 3 stars because he completed the job without breaking anything, and I don't know if 2 stars is too harsh

My van driver was excellent and very punctual! Charles is very informative and guided me to the best driver. Thank you for an easy house removal and for the help! Definitely recommend your services again :)
