Asiatique Thai Restaurant - East Sheen

Very disappointing restaurant. I dont think it deserves the 4.4 stars. It took more than 45 minutes to serve the food although there were only 3 other tables of customers in the restaurant. We tried to ask the restaurant to speed up but they said they had a lot of delivery orders to fill. I think its quite unreasonable that it took that long, and that deliver orders take priority over dine in customers, when all we had ordered was simply a curry and a stir fry. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Great food but only if you have all the time in the world to wait We have been ordering from Asiatique for about 5 years now, however in the recent past the experience has gotten worse. When you visit the restaurant the orders take time as they prioritize deliveries and when we order take away it takes no less than 90 minutes to deliver. In the last instance, the person who answered the phone was rude and blamed the delivery driver for being stuck in traffic, whilst the delivery driver mentioned that he had just left the place as they were busy. The food is absolutely great, however will not be ordering anytime soon as no point being frustrated whilst you eat your food that arrives late and cold.
