Ordered the Eli burger and it was just a coleslaw burger with more mayonnaise. Really really bland. They ran out of rice at 7.30pm. We also ordered poppadoms and found some plastic in it.
The number of deliveroo drivers though was insane. They were obviously prioritising take out orders. The door was opening so much that the place was freezing.
Wouldn't recommend dinning out there.

Firstly we couldnt get through on the phone to book a table as no one answered, even after numerous attempts. The online booking system also didnt work so we decided to just turn up.
Upon arrival the restaurant wasnt at full capacity and the single waitress working that evening (a Saturday) seemed somewhat baffled that we had come for dinner? We waited 5 mins for a table to be made available. The tables and chairs that are obviously meant to go out the front were piled up in a corner taking up extra space and making the place look untidy.
After being seated we were eventually brought a complimentary bottle of water and menus. The water in the bottle turned out to be foul tasting tap water (it may have been from a tank rather than mains water) Dont bring people a complimentary bottle of water if youre just filling it up with tap water. The menus were also filthy and sticky with old drinks and food on them. Not a great first impression when choosing what food to eat.
We eventually ordered 2 drinks (a beer and a cocktail) whilst deciding what food to order. During that time another couple turned up to eat and again the waitress seemed completely surprised and caught off guard that they had come for dinner, and again faffed around getting another table ready- the couple left stood in the doorway for 5 mins.
My pint of beer came and by the time I had finished it (maybe 15mins later) the cocktail eventually turned up.
During this time no food had been brought out (although a couple of take aways had been collected) and it became apparent the other people sitting in the restaurant were not happy and had obviously been there a while waiting for food. We decided not to order food and booked another local restaurant whilst waiting for our bill for the 2 drinks. The other couple that had come in whilst we were there also left without ordering anything because of the poor service. The single waitress working that evening was obviously inexperienced and overwhelmed, and wasnt particularly happy herself. The restaurant wasnt even at full capacity.
Overall a very bad experience in a restaurant that we once enjoyed. We wont be returning.
