As a student I would also like to comment on the situation of this school. Ever since the Witherslack group took over our school over 17 members of staff handed in their resignation. Lots of these being key members of staff like therapists and teachers. Now the school is short staffed and kids at the school are running about setting off fire alarms and all sorts with nothing happening. I feel sorry for staff who currently work there as they are most likely burnt out. I am not sure about some members of senior leadership at the school either as they dont seem to be helping anyone. As of the 17 that have left they dont seem to be able to or havent hired many people to fill the positions they have left, this is not good. They pressure other staff to fulfil jobs that arent in their job description and are too much. Ive herd some staff dont leave there til around 1900 and still are working at home because there is not enough staff to assist planning lessons and even the workload of other staff.

ever since witherslack has taken over this school has gone down hill break times for lunch has gotten shorter. 5 minute breaks are no longer allowed outside only in class rooms which defeats the purpose of a break as a student with ADHD this affects me a lot and makes my day a lot more harder especially since i'm doing my gcses which stresses me out even more . some new staff members can't even teach a lesson. some students walk around like they own the place bullying being loud breaking school property ect ect. there's no communication between witherslack and students so no one can voice their thoughts on these things i've pointed out. i would not recommend this school at all.
