Maynard Arms

Went here on 30th April 2023 I havent been here for as long as I remember, truth is Ive avoided it because in the past when I have been there Ive always felt out of place. Basically i gave it another chance because I thought maybe somehow I imagined it was in my head, but sure as the sun shines I was right. I went to the bar and waited patiently whilst the staff served all around me until I had to say to one of the bar staff that I was next. I considered myself to be a hard working professional so it was very clear to me that this place is not somewhere if you are a person of color then you should spend your time and money elsewhere. And this is not the first time that it has happened to me at the establishment. But it will be the last time. If you have experienced something similar then please share. Bigoted people are just so vile. And there you have it. And this is me being honest thing is they know that they did it, rather than me make a fuss check it out for yourself
