Hadnt been here in years. Now under new management, it was a great spot for a weekend afternoon pint. Very friendly and attentive staff with terrific taste in music. Menu looks great too.

Drink selection is good and there's food. The music gets pretty loud but there's no dancefloor, so I'm not sure what the angle is there. Edit: I've been back here since my original review that I posted a few years ago. The pub has been refitted and the noise is no longer an issue. I've actually suggested this place a few times to people.

Super cosy place with a lovely ambience ideal for conversation with just the right amount of hubbub. Not at all a boisterous pub, but a warm, homely one, which is definitely my preference. All the staff are brilliant, but my friend and I had the pleasure of being attended to by Oliver and so an extra special shoutout must be given to him, who went above and beyond for us! :) We thoroughly enjoyed his friendly company made us feel like regulars despite it being our first time. Eleven out of ten for service! For Oliver alone, I would return. Add in the tasty food and price? I'm definitely coming back!! :D Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks! Can't wait to try the Sunday Roast!
