They called last orders at 9.30pm because it was quite quiet they said. I reckon this approach is shortsighted, if you shoo people then next time people don't bother and so it perpetuates the problem. Pubs should serve their community until at least 11 or become a florist. If you commit to being open proper hours for three years you'll build up a trade.

Really big pub inside. I ate here on Easter Monday, couldnt my believe the pub was so quiet. Food was tasty. It was a shame they where only doing their Sunday menu & we couldnt have fish and chips. Waitress was a bit abrupt. Would visit again.

19 for a roast the potatoes should be roasted. They were more like boiled potatoes. Not a great portion. Beef was good though.

Food was delicious but service was poor. Staff seem to be using pub for their own purposes (i.e. entertaining their friends) on Friday evening as opposed to serving customers. When given a steak knife for a chicken kiev and saying 'but I'm having chicken' I was told to enjoy eating my chicken with a steak knife. Not the end of the world but just rude.
