Not bad little pub on the Broadway. Still one of those traditional places, with relatively cheap drinks.

Mill Hill Broadway 3.70 Carlsberg A no frills locals pub on busy Mill Hill Broadway. . The Bridge Tavern is situated at the bottom end of busy Mill Hill Broadway. The nearest tube is a thirty minute walk away in Edgware but you can get the overground Thameslink service which stops at the train station opposite the pub. . NW7 is the most northwest postcode in Greater London and has seen so many pubs wiped off its landscape, now only four remain. . I visited here back in May on my way to see the rugby at Saracens. From the outside you have to look twice to realise this is a pub as it blends into the shops on this busy stretch of road. This pub is a converted shop which probably gets its name from the M1 flyover which is only a few feet away. The decor here is bright, airy and modern with a long bar running down the right hand side. . The beer choice here is basic, even though this is a freehouse the pub stocks what the locals want. After little deliberation I decided on a Carlsberg, my pint was decent and cheap as chips at 3.70. This pub doesnt serve food. . The atmosphere here was buoyant with a mix of locals and rugby goers in attendance. The staff were on their game pulling plenty of pints and having a laugh with the punters plotted up around the bar. . The Bridge Tavern doesnt look the most inviting pub youll come across but dont let that put you off. Its a local community pub that welcomes in the masses when rugby season is on and I felt welcome here. The price point is great, a pint for under four quid, happy days. .
