Palmers Green Post Office

I've had 3 tracked parcels containing a Fire tablet, a high capacity micro usb and an expensive vintage videogame stolen. Tracking on all said none of the parcels had left the Post Office. Guy behind the counter gave me some fob off about a backlog. Never got any parcels returned, even though I left a return address. Had to file claims and complained to Royal Mail about the thefts. Don't take in anything valuable in there to post. Even if it's tracked there's a high chance it will disappear. I strongly suspect the thief or thieves are still working there. May I suggest you use the Post Office in Cannon Hill, where I've had no problems whatsoever.

Despite three people working there only one person is ever serving the customers. Therefore there are ALWAYS queues out the door. Its a beautiful building but the owners have taken no care to maintain it. The lovely windows are covered with old notices that no one reads, the inside of the store sells so much tat that I cant imagine anyone actually buys. There are cardboard boxes everywhere stuffed with more tat to sell - it just looks so messy and sad inside. If the owner would tidy the inside every so often and expose the windows, it would look so much nicer. As a high street essential, the place needs a bit of love and care to be honest!
