This is a bad post office. The placement of the counter means the queue is really awkward in such a small shop. In terms of the customer service the shop owners seem like they couldnt care less and just want to move you on as quickly as possible. Im convinced they charge the maximum amount for postage despite what the item value might be. Ive been to other post offices and dont seem to get charged nearly as much. If I wasnt my local I would avoid.

Parcelforce international post SCAM - the staff here for a longtime have not been fully completing the electronic customs declarations, they lazily put only the postcode and one part of the line address. I only discovered as this is now a full requirement for letters or parcels sent to Ireland (as a test) which will expand to the whole EU in July next month. The Irish post handler told me 50% of Parcelforce items get blocked by their customs due to this. I stupidly assumed that I had not fully completed the written declaration but it is the post office who needs to do this. His recommendation was to either send via normal post (this was not an option for me as I was sending original ID documents) or I suggest to use a DHL counter at the local Rymans. I am considering to report this to police as most customers will like me try to resend again using Parcelforce - absolutely do not try this, you will lose money again!
