I have used to be a regular customer as it was my favourite Italian restaurant in London, but I came back for a pizza yesterday and it was a very disappointing experience. Service was slow and confusing, pizza not as good as it used to be, cheese on top was way far from being a proper mozzarella. What a shame.

I must preface this review by stating that I am not one to leave negative feedback, as I am acutely aware of the impact it can have on small businesses. However, in the interest of constructive criticism, I feel compelled to share my recent lunchtime experience at Santore in London's bustling Exmouth Market. The restaurant exudes warmth and charm, and I was delighted to be seated at a lovely outdoor table. The attentive staff presented an enticing lunch menu, and I eagerly ordered the seafood risotto, a European classic that I've enjoyed in numerous establishments. Regrettably, the seafood risotto did not meet my expectations. The rice was undercooked, with a hard center that detracted from the overall experience. This was a far cry from the creamy, al dente texture that one would expect from a well-prepared risotto. When I politely brought this to the staff's attention, I was told that this was their preferred method of cooking, which left me somewhat baffled. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, the disappointing preparation of the seafood risotto prompts me to award two stars. It is my hope that Santore will view this feedback as an opportunity for growth, and work towards refining their culinary skills to provide a dining experience that fully lives up to their potential. I sincerely wish them the best and hope to see improvements in the future.
