I was hesitant to get back to the gym following heart surgery but wanted to find a way to stay motivated and consistent with my exercise. Mark stepped in and did a fantastic job at building my confidence but also gently pushing me when he knew I could do it. The sessions flew by, because it was genuinely great catching up with Mark a couple times a week. Made the whole thing feel less of a chore!

Mark has been AMAZING. Giving me confidence in what was an alien environment ( the gym !) . He is kind , supportive and very knowledgeable, giving friendly advice about all areas of your health and fitness in order to help you improve your lifestyle and reach your goals . I prolapsed a lumbar disc in 2013 and suffered many years of excruciating lower back and sciatic pain. I used to be relatively fit before my injury and was desperate to regain some level of fitness and didn't want to accept that this was it! I had tried other fitness trainers but every time I pushed myself, I would have a relapse and be out of action for a few weeks. Mark was recommended to me and I can honestly say I have never looked back. He researched my issues and found safe ways for me to start strengthening the support muscles around my spine as well as hamstrings and glutes. My confidence in him meant that I finally let go of my fear (which was stiffening my spine even more) and started seeing real progress in my mobility and strength. I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. He is a font of knowledge and the community he has created encourages you to push yourself, accept new challenges, expand your knowledge, all within a safe, nurturing group of like minded people. If you're looking for a trainer to improve your fitness, strength, mobility or to lose/gain weight, no matter what your goal is, he's your man!
