Hill House Care Home

My husband came to HH in December 2020. A young resident of 56! Staff, care, facilities, empathy and kindness were all exemplary not only for my husband but for the family also. I cannot recommend Hill House too highly and have already asked my daughter to book me in here when my time comes!!

My mother Joan spent a short period at Hill House in June 2021 for palliative care. The staff were fantastic throughout and they were very attentive to her needs. I cannot recommend this caring family run home enough. Everyone we met was friendly and caring.

I attended Hill House to deliver some training to the staff today. I was most impressed by the friendly attentive staff and even more delighted to report that this care home was spotlessly clean and Covid aware. My mother in law was looked after at Hill House for end of life care, the staff are kind and sympathetic and very diligent, the food is excellent and cultural tastes are catered for, the rooms are well maintained and staff ensure vulnerable resident who need assistace with day to day needs are helped and moniteredm I am very grateful for the care and support given. Hill House is a special care home with a personal approach to the residents. Residents and staff are valued and the result is a truly caring community where our father is well cared for and happy, which are the crucial twin objectives. The organisation and management are effective, with nurses in charge and staff who are kind and friendly and help each other to help the residents. Hill House has helped our father to recover after losing our mother. We discuss his needs regularly with them and have commissioned physiotherapy and limb massage. Support staff including the kitchen and maintenance teams all play a valuable part. The food is wholesome and tasty. There is a full timetable of activities and seasonal celebrations. We are very grateful to Hill House.
