Little Raccoons Day Nursery Limited

A lovely nursery. My daughter has been going there since April 2021, and she loves going there. It is clear to me that all staff really love children. They have many fun activities and have a cute garden that children can play in. My daughter definitely has become more confident, more chatty and better around other people. I particularly like how the staff have different personalities (all in good ways!) - I think it is important for children's development. All the staff are always really happy and cheerful. I also like the size of this nursery - not too small and not too big. This nursery also offers more flexibility than others in terms of the drop off and pick up time. I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

I decided to write this review because in my view the current Ofsted rating (Good) and the other reviews here, do not reflect the quality of this nursery. It is a small nursery, which struggles to retain good staff and has a very high mgmt and staff turnover. In addition it does not a support families with the 15/30h funding when kids turn three. In terms of what happens inside the nursery its a kind of black box as activities are not shared with parents and the most we got at pick-up was that our son had a good day and did a lot of things, but details have always been elusive. Relationship with mgmt turned sour after we reported two security incidents to Ofsted. Following that, mgmt decided to kick us out without notice, making up stories. I cannot thank them enough as that helped us finding a better nursery for our son.

Both my girls have attended Little Raccoons since they were babies. My husband & I have recommended it to many friends who have all enrolled their little ones there too. Everyone thinks it is wonderful, including all the children. Elizabeth the manager & the staff are fantastic. The food is excellent too. Five stars from us! Mrs J Ireland

Splendid day nursery with attentive, fun, friendly staff and great facilities for little ones to occupy themselves from books, to toys, sandpit, garden, painting, blocks... you name it. Great variety of food too. Highly recommended.
