MTO Nursery

Choosing a nursery to look after your child is a big decision. Thankfully, MTO is a joyous place, with staff who go above and beyond to create a warm, caring and inspiring environment. My son loves going, and especially enjoys a banana from the fruit basket that is put out every day for the children. Cant recommend enough and am so pleased we decided to send our little boy here

I have a three year old and a 19 month old at MTO, having both joined at around 10 months old. They absolutely love going to nursery - they have great bonds with their keyworkers and other staff. There are plenty of different activities for them to do, and the focus is on learning through play. My eldest daughter loves drawing and that has been encouraged a lot. There are PE lessons, singing and dancing, lots of themed activities and free play. They eat better than I do while they are at nursery! There is a lovely community at MTO, the staff are all welcoming and caring. The girls are excited to go every day, and what higher praise is there than that?

My son has been attending MTO for over 10 months now and from the beginning the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Especially when my son was struggling with settling in, they made it easier and less stressful for both myself and him. He is now all settled and looks forward to going to nursery in the morning. The management team is very professional and helps out no matter the situation making sure my son is always taken care of. The staff always greets with a smile and the kids always seem very happy.

MTO helped our family immensely by taking on our children to provide childcare at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and nursery closures as their last nursery had to close. Both my partner and I are key workers and could not have continued in our jobs without this support. That our twin daughters have continued to learn, develop and started potty training in this time is testament to how supportive and well run the nursery is. The girls have built lovely relationships with their key workers which was important in supporting us through a family bereavement. They skip into nursery in the morning and its lovely to hear snippets of songs and games from their life outside of home. The only small drawback of the nursery is the lack of outside space. However, the girls do get regular varied opportunities at different play settings and activities (including park trips and yoga or PE on wet days).
