Really helpful - spent time understanding what extent of problem might be and possible solutions. Good price on the estimate. And looks like did job well - again, explaining what they were doing. And also resealed a bedroom window when lead masitcing the lead flashing. Thanks both! fingers crossed the repair holds out during next major downpour. Update two years on. Not a single problem despite many many extremely heavy thunderstorms. Cheers again.
