Very pleased with the work and attitude by Tony and his team! Tony got in touch with us relatively quickly after we send an enquiry for a leak of our flat roof. He came over promptly to have a look at the roof and advised the roof needs to be replaced. Following his visit, he sent us a very detailed quote listing everything he will need to do as part of the replacement of the roof. We followed with a few questions and he was very patient and answered with great detail which gave us confidence in his expertise. Once we confirmed we want to go ahead with his service, he gave us 2 weeks lead time (weather dependant) and he started the works within this time frame. The works were completed in 1.5 days and once the roof was opened he advised that a lot of the plywood is in good condition and he recommended changing only the damaged areas which resulted in saving us money! During the work the team was very respectful, cleaned everything behind them and in no way bothered me. Overall a very hassle free experience and I would definitely recommend A1 Asphalt. This man is the reason why tradesmen have such a bad reputation for being rude and nasty cowboys. I contacted this man to provide me with a quote and he was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The first slot we had booked he didn't bother to turn up for. This was rescheduled for the following day. He banged so hard on my front door like he was bailiff I owe money to it made me jump in the middle of my work meeting. I still opened the door to let him and politely asked that he take off the shoes he was wearing that were covered in mud as I had just cleaned my home. He said very stroppily: "Oh do I really have to?!" and when I said yes he stormed off! Considering the customer facing nature of his role he is in serious need of an attitude replacement! Thankfully, I had already found a nice roofer who had come as scheduled, hadn't banged on my door like a bleeping bailiff and who had no qualms with taking his shoes off. I would avoid Tony at all costs. Plenty of other roofers with a better attitude in the area.

From seeing great reviews for A1 Asphalt roofing on Google, we asked Tony to come and install a new felt roof on our studio shed. He and his associate were punctual, friendly and did a fantastic job using quality materials. Will happily recommend to anyone Service: Roof installation
