    On the 14/12/2022 at approximately 17:20 myself and my family attended Q-Bar West Wickham for food and drinks. When we entered the restaurant it was empty and a lady with dark hair approached us and sat us down at the nearest table to her. We ordered my baby a meal then ordered our meal and drinks. The babys meal came out after about 10 minutes. The restaurant was cold, I had to put my partners jacket on and my babys hands were freezing. We then sat and waited for around half an hour for our meal. I couldnt understand why this would take so long to cook two burgers especially as there is no one in the restaurant. When our food finally arrived, it look well presented and I was excited to eat it. As I bit into the burger I noticed that it had been over cook as it was very dry. I then tried to smother it in sauce however that made no difference. My partner didnt not enjoy his food either however ate it as we had waited so long for it. I was struggling to swallow the burger so I called the waitress over to let her know I couldnt eat it. She took my meal and said do I want to order anything else, I asked her how long would I have to wait and she said it depends on what I ordered. I looked at the menu and didnt fancy anything else plus I didnt have the time to sit around for another half an hour. We asked for the bill and ask she gave it to us, she said Ive charged you for half a burger and not the chips. I couldnt believe what she was saying. She then continued to speak over me saying I ate half a burger so I have to pay for it. While she is trying to argue with me, my baby is sat in the middle of this. So Im trying not to raise my voice as I dont want my baby to witness me in an argument and the waitress is continuing to be rude and demanding that I pay. I then, when she let me get a word in explained that she didnt even check back on me or my family to see if everything is ok with my meal, I had to get her attention and raise my concerns regarding my meal. Secondly, the attitude she gave to me when I said I was unhappy with my food is unacceptable and she didnt even apologise as you would if a customer is not happy. She was unprofessional, upset my child as my child is sat in the middle of an argument and upset us as a family. I went home and was very upset by the whole situation.
