Briefly trained here many years ago. Ash is an amazing person and teacher. Classes are great for fitness and self defence.

I really enjoy this class. Silat is an interesting martial art with much to teach people of all levels/experience. Body mechanics, self defence and conditioning are all treated with equal importance in Ash's class making for a rich and rewarding experience. Ash himself is a thorough teacher who believes in teaching by example. I have been attending his Thursday night class for close to three years a now and have always come away at the end of an evening feeling I have learned something new and beneficial.

Mind Body and Soul. Here at SBL its more than martial arts with elements of inner peace and grasp of your ying yangs. Dont get me wrong its for warriors of combat as well as newbies alike. A combination of fighting fitness merged with subtleties of softness from a hardened technician of a teacher. This is the place guys and if you know your martial arts from your martial peace know that i am right in this. Find me here.

Really enjoy the classes. Would definately recommend to those interested in increasing stamina, building strength and gaining skills.
