The Northern Praying Mantis School of Kung Fu, run by Sifu Bryan My son Ty, has attended this school for a number of years now and on starting his journey with Sifu, my son not only jelled with his teacher and class on the offset but he has grown to love it even more over the years. My son Ty has learned so many techniques which he is finding invaluable for life. Knowing that he is more equipped physically and mentally through Sifus teachings. I cannot recommend this Kung Fu school enough, as Sifu not only teaches to a very high standard he also engages with his students and guides and supports them with general life issues and shows them how they can use what they have been taught to navigate through physical and emotional experiences. My son has been training with Sifu Bryan for the last 2 and a half years, and the level of increased fitness, confidence, discipline, character and martial skills and expertise he has developed during this time, has been exceptional! Sifu Bryan is an excellent teacher and role model, with an amazing upbeat energy, who is always great to be around, and my son is always buzzing and in high spirits after every session! Sifu Bryan practices what he preaches, by displaying the most important qualities of self mastery, self discipline, self respect, honesty and integrity at all times for the benefit of his students, and as a part of his everyday good natured character. He is an incredibly kind and patient teacher who genuinely cares for the well being of all his students, and he is always balanced in his approach to discipline and encouraging his students to always push their limits and to do their best at all times. He is always exuding positivity and full of humorous banter both during the sessions when getting his students to practice hard, as well as being firm and balanced when it comes to discipline when needed. His approach is fundamentally about the successful integration of mind, body and spirit as a highly crucial aspect of practising a very special and effective martial arts, such as Northern Praying Mantis, which develops great power and strength of mind and body, as well as responsibility of character and spirit. Sifu Bryan is 100% passionate about his martial arts, and his energy and enthusiasm is always present in every session! He is a rare individual who lives and breathes Northern Praying Mantis, with all the qualities you need in a teacher and mentor,, and i can't recommend a better teacher than him, nor a better martial art than learning Northern Praying Mantis!

My daughter has really enjoyed her experience with the Northern Praying Mantis Kung-Fu school. Sessions are hard work and fun. Sifu Bryan's enthusiasm and energy is catching and the class always leave happy and excited by what they have learnt. I would highly recommend classes!

The classes are very good and my children are learning a lot about self defence and self-displine. I recommend that you watch his youtube videos as they are very helpful for learning kung fu. His YouTube channel is Kung611.
