This is a brilliant club, been training there for 3 years, and I love it!! Everyones really friendly and anyone can come and try it out

I highly recommend Aquila Taekwondo and am truly proud to be a part of the Aquila family. My daughter and husband have been a training with the club for over 4 years and weve watched Aquila go from strength to strength. The club have created a great family atmosphere and the coachs are clearly invested in each and every student.

2017-2018: Great taekwondo club- the staff are all respectful of the students and create a lovely family feeling. 2019: Sadly the focus of the club has shifted to business growth and the care and respect for their students has suffered greatly. I had concerns regarding a coach bullying and shaming children, including forced weight loss, and discussed these concerns with another coach. His advice was to move my children to a different club; I pointed out that moving my children does not actually fix the problem. Two days after my initial call, after I told the coach that if the club were unwilling to address the issues then I would contact the Safeguarding Officer at British Taekwondo, my children were expelled. No reason was given, no formal letter, competition fees which we paid were not refunded.
