Monday 15th October saw the welcome return of an old friend of Herga, both past and present, Dan McKinnon, who hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. A natural successor to the late great Stan Rogers, he did not disappoint the full audience who were also entertained by some fine floor singers including the very highly regarded Martyn Wyndham Read, one of England's finest Folk singers. An excellent evenings music in this fine location.

Another great evening at The Castle: welcoming Pub where everyone seems happy to join in to support the singer.Good opportunity for writers to "launch" their new songs, which side by side with the best traditional songs always gives an evening of variety and often surprises !

Small friendly folk club, mostly singarounds with exceptionally a guest folk singer.
