Chris and his team rebuilt a wooden patio and a few other bits in the garden. Great communication, great service, and a fantastic result. Looking forward to using their services on the next garden project.

I would highly recommend Chris and his team to carry out an excellent job. They were absolutely wonderful, polite and hardworking the quality of the finish was done brilliantly. I live in a terrace house and the team carried all the materials and equipment with great care through the house everyday. They kept me updated and they finished the job just as I had imagined. Chris is very knowledgeable and his team worked extremely hard. Everyone who has seen the garden has admired their work. Thank you Chris for taking on the job. We asked Chris to completely renovate our front and back gardens. The team was difficult and unpleasant to work with and left various bits of the back unfinished, or in a dangerous condition. We went with a different company for the front garden. Perhaps the drop in standards compared with the reviews below is because Chris said he had a new team, after having to fire the last one after they'd done a bad job. I wouldnt recommend Prime Garden Design for the following reasons: * Various aspects of the work were unfinished (further details below) - the most dangerous being a huge metal spike that was left in the ground (see photos) which we later found and had to dig out as it could have gone through a boot. * There were constant delays to start/finish work on the front/back for reasons such as weather which didnt affect the next company we hired. * The back garden took 3 weeks over a period of two months instead of the original 5 days. * While some of the delays were unavoidable, all team members seemed unmotivated, working 9/10 until 2.30/3 (including lunch break) standing around on their phones, and Chris wouldnt get stuck in. * The latest push back to the front-garden start date was because of family-related issues. While sympathetic, we were a bit unsure why this affected Chris whole team and at this point the start date had already been pushed back several times by 2 months (sometimes we were informed of this late the night before). * The team were often in a bad mood, noisy with shouting, slamming doors and playing music. * They would not clear up after themselves, often leaving dirty protective flooring and mud everywhere over weekends. * The stain on the fence was patchy (see pictures). * Chris didnt order the right amount of paving and didnt pave where the shed would go, despite me asking. The shed doors wouldnt open as a result of the level difference (see photos). The next company charged us 150 to finish Chris work by filling in with concrete (see photos). * There was a missing paving stone at the back next to the raised bed (see pictures). * Chris and the team failed to prepare the side areas around the lawn which left the soil waterlogged. There are some positives: * They did complete the back garden job, although the standard isnt good. * Chris and the team rebuilt a collapsed sewer cover with no extra cost. * Chris provided a sheet of advice on how to care for the new turf. * Chris returned the materials cost for the front garden. However, this took ten days, instead of the "few" he asked for, and we were unable to contact Chris during this period for an update.
