        The Chaucer Group is investing in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline. Not only is investment in the further exploitation of fossil fuels, given the climate emergency, highly irresponsible, and indicative of short-term thinking, this particular project is both devastated communities and economically reckless. The future of East Africa relies on building sustainable, diversified and inclusive economies not by letting huge multinational corporations extract resources and keep the profit.

They just need to stop supporting climate destruction.
