I am very very picky with Asian food having an excellent chef at home.. can't express how good the food is at this place, affordable price with excellent customer service and really nice atmosphere. Most definitely be back soon. I'm not sure why the previous reviewer Adam Mufti would give a poor review when you can tell he has eaten everything on his plate. Moronic.Fml.

I have never written a google review for food related feedback, but I guess there is always a first time. 27 Mar 2023, around 8:30pm, I decided to stop by and try this restaurant for a takeaway meal. I ordered a simple kadhai paneer mains dish with garlic naans. On reaching my destination and unpacking the food, I found a large sized container take away box with only quarter full of content, may be only enough for 1 small serving for one person. My initial thought was that it might have been a genuine mistake where the chef took the order as a sides rather than mains - so I called the restaurant back within 45 mins of collecting the order to clarify the confusion. But the real shocker was to discover the restaurant owner/manager (you are a bald gentleman, who wasn't able to thread 2 sentences together) being extremely arrogant and with frankly outrageous attitude which is the reason for leaving this review. Upon confirming that the order was correctly served for a mains portion and indeed that is the quantity they serve in the restaurant, I simply mentioned that usually one would expect a main serving to be sufficient for TWO people in other Indian restaurants, and that I know the typical portion sizes because I have an Indian decent, the restaurant owner's response was - "but this is England and this is how it works here". I am in shock to learn that somebody in hospitality can be so arrogant, misbehaved and disrespectful. And to top it off - the food was below par at best. I recommend avoiding this place and to take your business to other nearby joints, run by decent people, and who have pride in their food and hospitality, and not so much for being in England.

Yet another Indian / Punjabi restaurant run by Bengali cooks. The tastes are not right, the samosa is store bought and the biryani is not what it should be You know the samosa is store bought due to the frozen pea/carrot seen here
