DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Heathrow Airport

Really like the breakfast. Staff was phenomenal, Huma, & Munaza were so welcoming. They felt like friends. The hotel is quiet. I stayed on the second floor. The front desk staff was also very accommodating. Being a diamond member with Hilton, I want to say that I am ruined to be with any other brand. I had to stay at another brand hotel when I was in Nottingham, UK and I was looking for my little Hilton specifics and they just didn't exist. It definitely was not in the way of become accustomed to traveling with Hilton. This was a base camp for my team and the location was great because you can take a bus to the tube. And the Piccadilly line is right up the street here. Thank you Hilton for Rocking it again!

I booked this as a free stay via my Hilton points, and I was impressed! Yes, the rooms (and hotel) do have a somewhat old/outdated vibe, but everything is comfy and worked well. The staff were all super-friendly and efficient, too. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was good, and the WiFi was snappy. The outside noise was low, due to the triple glazed windows. I could hear people in the corridor, but no one was noisy during my stay. The breakfast was an unexpected surprise -- the range and quality was excellent (and comped for Diamond members). For the price point I saw before using my Hilton points, this hotel is great value for an overnight stop for an early flight. The hotel can be easily accessed via the Hotel Hoppa shuttle buses at stop 17 at LHR Terminal 5 (5.50 single), and it's on the H5C and H5E routes. Buses run to the other terminals, too. The buses ran on time for me, and it took 20 mins to get to T5
