Site of a picturesque rural retreat, a farmhouse, with a commanding prospect over the countryside. Over the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries historic figures recorded as guests here. Grade II Listed but benign neglect resulting in dereliction, finally demolished in 2012 leaving an abstract outline and the floor-plan footprint. Appropriate signage contextualisation here provide an historical perspective. An integral segment of the park adding background undertow to a appealing landscape.

At the top of the hill, you will find the remains of Dollis Hill House, which was a favourite residence of Gladstone. Lots of information about this once loved family home, with photographs, are on display stands, surrounding the site. Well worth a visit.
