I must preface this by saying that we didn't go inside, so until I do, it's just a review of the outside area, which is lovely. It's a very ornate, brutal, ominous building, and I wanted to practice POI shots on the drone, so used this building. There's park space in front and behind this, which was nice to sit in. I must admit, I haven't googled if you can go in, bit there isn't anything obvious on the building to say what the deal is.

The memorial is a sculpture sculpture of Christ by Danish artist Arild Rosenkrantz. This bronze sculpture was stolen in 1991, but was later recovered in a scrapyard in Brixton. Memorials were a very important tribute to the loss of lives in the war as the official policy at that time was not repatriating the dead, which meant that the memorials provided the main focus of the grief felt.

It's an refurbished old church that now days has flats. The main thing around is Burgess Park, ideal for exercising or picnics.
