Ive visited for the first time today after living in the area for over about 18 years. It has become increasingly difficult to find a non-halal fast food spot especially as a Sikh person who cannot eat halal due to my faith (not for political reasons!). I was so over the moon to come across Jakes after learning they serve pork and other burgers. I went in and tried the chicken burger, hot dog and chicken pepper sandwich all of which were cooked fresh right in front me even right down to the onions. It is really good value for money and everything tasted really delicious. Myself, my dad and the dog (who will wait outside as usual!) will definitely be visiting again

Im a local lad & I cant believe I havent been here before, the food is honestly 10/10 (one of the best burgers Ive had) & considering the high quality of the food the prices are very good too. Whenever I need a burger this will be my place to go I can tell that the owner is a very nice man, his overall customer service & conversational skills are 10/10. I found out from him that this shop has a 50 year history & hes been working in the shop for all of this time which I found really interesting. Even though I only came here last night I have already highly recommended this place to my friends & family
