I came to Rumours and the brilliant Vicki through reading google reviews so have to pay if forward and write this!! I had my hair cut from long to short(ish) by Vicki and think shes a genius!!! Shes totally aware of the psychology behind cutting hair and wont let you do anything youll regret. Shes also helped manage the grow back crazy bits of hair after some post-pregnancy related hair loss which really helped! Cant wait to go back and have another cut, this time with colour ! Thank you to Vicki, and thank you to google reviews for helping me to find her & Rumours!

Vicki has been cutting / colouring my hair for over 22 years. As a stylist she will always listen to my needs and is alway keeping up with the latest trends. The salon has a relaxing and warm welcoming environment. I recently purchased a blow dry product by Kalona which is one of the best I have come across to tame my wavy hair. Would highly recommend this salon in the heart of Pinner. Services: Hairstyling, Hair highlighting, Hair coloring

Lovely lovely place with the most warm people around. Everytime I have been there I have been given the best of the treatments. Big shout out to the best Hair Dresser - Vicki. She is a charm even on a busy thursday when she has more clients after me. Never cease to amaze that customer experience is still alive in this joint in Pinner. Also, they never over charge you. Great prices with the best product.

I don't usually leave reviews let alone leave bad reviews as I don't like talking negatively about an establishment if the staff themselves are lovely, which in Rumours Hairdressing, they are indeed lovely people. However, I'd be lying if I said I had a good experience with my session. I showed photos of what I wanted, even showed what my natural hair colour is thus showed them my desired finish. I knew I wouldn't get what I wanted exactly as it had been previously dyed. My main goal out of all of this was the remove the obvious orange I had because I hate warm tones on me. I walked in with strawberry blonde hair, and even though that hair colour is a lovely colour, on me I do not like it and specified as such multiple times. I even spoke on how I got to that colour. On Thursday for my scalp and strand test, I said to the hairdresser that day, how I do not like strawberry blonde, today before the session started, I said it again to the hairdresser that was going to work on my hair. I even said it during the dying process. My hairdresser even showed me the test strands to what she would use. Fast forward to the blow-drying stage (I was not charged for the blow-out so I think she knew), I notice how orange it still is...like literally...orange. My hairdresser said how "warmth always wins" so it will not be completely cool/ ash toned which I accepted at the beginning without a problem however she did not try to remove anything. Remember when I said further up how I had mentioned several times that I do not like strawberry blonde? -- well during the drying stage, my hair dresser goes "it's a lovely strawberry blonde" (great to know I was listened to so carefully /s). The only thing I liked about all this was the blowout. Nothing was changed. I walked out the salon with the same hair I walked in with...just with some highlights which actually made it look more orange in daylight. I paid 90 which I know I should have refused to pay but it is easier said than done. Not even 5 minutes after leaving the salon, I go to boots and buy brown box dye because anything would be better than the colour I had which was everything I did not ask for. My hair is now brown and I am waiting for an ash toner to arrive in a couple days. It is leaps and bounds better than whatever I had from the salon. Service: Hair coloring
