The establishment has changed it name but I didn't realise this until I got there. Staff were busy as it was the Monday before Xmas. They were friendly and gave good advise for natural hair (black origin). I had a best of both world hair treatment and blow dry. They weren't rough washing my hair and gentle when it came to detangling. I would recommend if fancy a hair pamper session

I wouldve have preferred to message privately about my experience but couldnt find an email address. I visited adornment loc bar in brixton to start my traditional locs journey. And left feeling disappointed and hugely out of pocket. After paying 25 for my initial loc consultation I was asked to book in again for my first appointment 3 weeks later. The hairstylist I had for this consultation (Doreen) was fantastic, informative and friendly. However when I returned to actually get my locs twisted for the first time the receptionist was flat to the point of rude. The new stylist in charge of starting my locs didnt even introduce herself. She had no clue about what happened in my consultation. She was very unenthusiastic about starting my locs, it sounded like she complained to the receptionist about it. To the point I suggested I could come back another time as I felt I was putting them out. She said she was scared of washing my hair as it was too tangly. I understand that my hair texture can get tangled and was happy to pay for a de-tangle. However they charged me 90 for a treatment and curly hair styling. I would like for it to be explained how this was so expensive? I thought a detangle was only a 7 charge? I understand the treatment was 45 and I bought a 5 item so why was I charged 90? I was charged an extra 30 for what? I have never felt so disappointed in a salon experience. I have to say Doreen the hairstylist is brilliant but all other service experienced was shocking and to charge me nearly 100 just to have my hair washed is daylight robbery. Really gutted and will look elsewhere to start my loc journey.
